Terrible customer service
I was provided a unit that was inaccessible two days following the rental due to paving that was being performed. while this is a very regular maintenance item and i appreciate that the facility is being updated, it was not only extremely inconvenient for me due to the fact that i scheduled to move items into my unit that day but it was additionally a financial burden due to the fact that i hired movers. had i been notified during the rental procedure i would have scheduled accordingly or i would have chosen a different unit that was accessible during that period. when i spoke with the district manager Bilal i was treated as though this was my problem and that he was attempting to help me yet it was very clear to me that he felt that this was my issue and stated that i should have been aware because signs were posted on the facility. clearly i would have made arrangements to move at a different time or choose a different unit on the site or even gone with your competitor that is right across the street. Bilal ultimately credited me with $50 credit however with the movers i am still out of pocket a total of $150 minus the $50 credit that i was provided. At this time, half of my belongings are already in the storage unit and it is even more inconvenient for me to move out because of my work schedule, so ultimately i am going to be a paying customer, however if this is your customer acquisition method I am extremely upset with how you conduct business and i cannot say anything good about your company. i have left multiple messages Bilal's mabager but have not heard back yet to discuss the situation further. Furthermore, I am not one to leave lengthy reviews, if any at all but the way that I was treated leaves me feeling upset and that Bilal was very condescending and unaccomadating to the issue that i was found in due to the oversight of Keith providing me with my unit.
