Great staff, lengthy check in
Great staff, lengthy check in Check in and staff: I had a good experience with Public Storage overall. I found a promo online for a reduced price on the first month, which I was very happy about and sold me on this location. However, when I went to check in, the computer kept telling the staff that it could not honor the promotion. This is when the amazing ladies at the front desk stepped in and made the phone calls to ensure I got the price that I was expecting. They went above and beyond for me, and I was very thankful for that. Storage space: The storage room that I rented had a few holes in the wall but overall was clean and ready for move in. The door is a little smaller than the dimensions mention for the room, so this might be something that should be mentioned in the advertisements since I almost could not get my table into the room, which might make some people angry. Pricing: I was very happy with the pricing for the unit. It was very fair. However, there were a lot of things that happened to pop up along the check in that I was unaware of and could 100% just be my ignorance to the storage process, since it was my first time. The lady on the phone told me that I would need a dehumidifying bucket, so I was expecting that extra cost, but then there was the mandatory insurance charge, and I needed to purchase my own lock that I was unaware of. I would like to have been told this in advance. Security and lighting: The area has lighting around the facility if you need to move in at night, and you are given your own code to get into the gate, so I feel like the facility is pretty safe. Overall, would recommend using Public Storage to a friend.

Great local customer service
Great local customer service. There were many 'hidden' fees that I only learned of when going to look at the unit - such as insurance and requiring the use of their lock; I felt like I was being tricked because I wasn't notified about these when reserving the unit.

This is my second time renting from the place. The new manager, Angela is excellent. Very personable and responsive. I just wish the owner (who appears to double as something god a maintenance guy) was around more for lock cutting/light fixture help and the price of a lock (21 bucks) is excessive. I also don't like the fact the facility isn't 24/7 access. It's my property 24/7, I should be able to access it anytime. If not for the great service Angela provides, I probably would have left after the first month. People do business with people they like.

I had an okay experience at Public Storage.
I had a decent experience at Public Storage. At my first encounter she walked to show me the unit, even though it took her a while find one that was "showable" I guess. Then she ended up giving me the wrong unit so when I went to store my furniture I did not have access to the unit. So, I went to the office during business hours and the door was locked and the lights were off with no "will be back" sign in sight. I called the office and no one answered. This was a real inconvenience but the staff was always friendly and the unit was clean, hours are reasonable and so are the prices.
